Prof. Dr. Maria de Fatima Andrade
Biography
Prof Maria de Fatima Andrade is Associate Professor at the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences of the University of São Paulo, Brazil and Brazil coordinator of the ASTRID project. She holds a Master and PhD in Physics.
She works in the area of urban pollution and atmospheric aerosols and is the coordinator of the “Laboratory for Analysis of Atmospheric Process” (LAPAt). The LAPAt is involved in the description of emission, transformation and removal process of atmospheric constituents, and has capabilities of analyzing solid and liquid samples by means of X-Ray Fluorescence and ion chromatography. She has supervised more than 50 master and PhD students in the area of atmospheric sciences. She has more than 70 published articles in referee journals.
